As we celebrate Eid ul fitr, the festival of breaking the fast, I extend my warmest greetings and best wishes to all Muslims in our nation and around the world. Eid ul fitr marks the end of Ramadan, a month of spiritual discipline, devotion and charity. It is a time to rejoice in the blessings of Allah and to share them with our brothers and sisters in humanity.
As we face the future with hope and optimism, let us remember the values of peace, justice and tolerance that Eid ul fitr teaches us. Let us also pray for the health and well-being of all people, especially those who are suffering from illness, poverty or oppression.
