Seven more people, Greeks and their family members, were evacuated from Sudan and arrived in the early morning hours (25.04.2023) on a Dutch aircraft in Aqaba, Jordan.

The Minister of Foreign Affairs, Nikos Dendias, extended his warm thanks to his Dutch counterpart, Wopke Hoekstra, for his country’s assistance in the efforts to evacuate Greeks and their family members from Sudan.

The process and efforts for the evacuation of our compatriots and their family members from Sudan continue, always in close coordination with our partners in the EU and our allies.
