CALL FOR PROPOSALS (CFP) FOR GRANT FUNDS

TradeMark East Africa (TMEA) is a not for profit trade specialist organisation funded multiple donor agencies. TMEA was established with the aim of growing prosperity in East Africa through trade. TMEA works closely with East African Community (EAC) institutions, national governments, the private sector and civil society organisations.

 

TMEA seeks to increase trade by unlocking economic potential anchored on 3 strategic objectives:

  • Increasing  physical access to markets;
  • Enhancing trade environment; and
  • Improving business competitiveness.

 

Increased trade contributes to increased economic growth, a reduction in poverty and subsequently increased prosperity. TMEA has its headquarters in Nairobi with branches in Arusha, Bujumbura, Dar es Salaam, Juba, Kampala and Kigali.

 

TradeMark East Africa (TMEA) wishes to engage local, regional and/or international organizations (either For-profit or Not-for-profit) to participate in the following Calls for Proposals to receive grant funds to:

  • PRQ20160326 Support collateralized warehousing and increased trade for gains in Rwanda; and
  • PRQ20160414 Support increased competitiveness of livestock and/or poultry meat products traded between Rwanda and the Democratic Republic of Congo (DRC).

Terms of Reference for these Calls for Proposals (CFP) document can be obtained at www.trademarkea.com. All queries quoting the above Tender Number and Title in the email subject should be emailed to [email protected] only. The closing date for proposal submissions is 28 November, 2016 (East Africa Time).

Interested local, regional and/or international organizations (either for-profit or not-for-profit) must register and apply online ONLY on the TMEA procurement portal at the website: http://procurement.trademarkea.com. All attachments must be 10MB or less. Only successful Grantee/s shall be contacted.

TMEA cannot answer any query relating to this tender seven days or less prior to the submission deadline.
