The Kenya Feed the Future Innovation Engine is offering catalytic funding and technical support for innovative products, services and business models that will enhance agricultural productivity, increase rural incomes and improve nutrition across Kenya.

Ignite your potential by submitting innovations that relate to dairy and non-dairy ruminant livestock, horticulture, maize, and/or staple food crops, or any of the following special-focus areas:

  • The agriculture-nutrition nexus
  • The dryland economy
  • Youth employment and inclusion
  • Innovative ag financing
  • Innovations that enhance rural women’s livelihoods

The Innovation Engine invites proposals from prospective applicants with October 27, 2014 as the submission deadline

In view of the anticipated high level of interest in the program, prospective applicants are strongly encouraged to make their submissions to [email protected] well in advance of the due date.

Prospective applicants who have questions concerning the contents of this Request for Applications shall submit them in writing be email to [email protected].

To facilitate the preparation of responsive innovation proposals by prospective applicants, the Innovation Engine will deliver a series of public information sessions and innovation proposal development clinics via online webinars and at several locations across Kenya over the coming weeks. Further details on the dates, times and venues for these information sessions will be posted on the Innovation Engine website.
