The pernicious effects of Russia’s invasion of Ukraine continue to be felt in Africa.
The flow of grain from the conflict zone, previously a breadbasket, has been disrupted, global trade has taken a hit and economic growth has been stunted. Now, with both Ukraine and Russia seeking diplomatic support in Africa as the war drags on, we look at what’s at stake for the continent.
