His Excellency Sheikh Shakhboot bin Nahyan Al Nahyan, Minister of State, met with His Excellency Filipe Nyusi, President of the Republic of Mozambique, wherein the two sides discussed ways to develop bilateral relations in various fields.
His Excellency Sheikh Shakhboot bin Nahyan conveyed the greetings of UAE President His Highness Sheikh Mohamed bin Zayed Al Nahyan and His Highness Sheikh Mohammed bin Rashid Al Maktoum, Vice President and Prime Minister of the UAE and Ruler of Dubai, to His Excellency Filipe Nyusi and their wishes for his country and people to achieve further progress and prosperity.
For his part, His Excellency Filipe Nyusi conveyed to Sheikh Shakhboot bin Nahyan his greetings and best wishes to His Highness Sheikh Mohamed bin Zayed Al Nahyan and His Highness Sheikh Mohammed bin Rashid Al Maktoum and wished the government and people of the UAE further development and growth.
Moreover, His Excellency Filipe Nyusi praised the strong and deep-rooted relations between the two countries and constructive cooperation at all levels, stressing the existence of many opportunities to strengthen ties in various fields.
For his part, His Excellency Sheikh Shakhboot bin Nahyan underscored that relations between the UAE and the Republic of Mozambique are continuously developing, pointing out that there are many opportunities to advance ties, for the benefit of both countries.
Sheikh Shakhboot bin Nahyan also met with Verónica Macamo, Minister of Foreign Affairs of the Republic of Mozambique, during which they discussed the distinguished relations between the UAE and Mozambique and ways to enhance them. A memorandum of understanding was also signed to establish a joint committee for cooperation between the two countries in various fields.
