Yehu Microfinance, an institution based in Kenya, has received funding from ADA’s Luxembourg Microfinance and Development Fund (LMDF).
Finaltus Ventures Ltd, an investment and transaction advisory firm based in Kenya, acted in its capacity as the appointed transaction advisor for Yehu Microfinance, in enhancing investor readiness that met the LMDF Fund investment criteria.
The funding in form of debt, will go into scaling the company’s operations with an aim of offering more diversified products.

Yehu Microfinance is an incorporated, social impact microfinance lender that targets women living in rural areas by giving them lines of credit and financial management courses to enhance financial inclusion in the coastal area of Kenya.
ADA (Appui au Développement Autonome) headquartered in Luxembourg, was created in May 1994 as an NGO specialised in inclusive finance. It implements a broad programme, working with regulators, microfinance associations, networks, Microfinance institutions (MFIs), investors and in research.
Through the socially responsible investment fund created by ADA in 2009, the Luxembourg Microfinance and Development Fund (LMDF) has funding solutions for the growing MFIs in Africa, Latin America, Southeast and Central Asia. The fund offers senior and subordinated debt and non-financial services such as support and technical assistance.
