The International Livestock Research Institute (ILRI) seeks to recruit two outstanding individuals to contribute to delivery of its research agenda. The positions require strong leadership skills and ability to influence practice, policy and choices of key decision-makers to address the use of livestock in developing countries in order to increase food security and reduce poverty. The individuals appointed will each have an outstanding international profile in their relevant fields.

Regional Representative, Southern Africa

The regional representative will represent ILRI in southern Africa regional fora, provide leadership for the implementation of ILRI’s research and resource mobilization activities in the region, and engage in developing the livestock agenda with key partners, not only to improve conditions, but educate as well.
Location: Harare, Zimbabwe.
